Sunil Gavaskar has urged the BCCI to introduce a mandatory one-month rest period for centrally contracted Indian players to manage their workload after India’s 3-0 ODI series win over Afghanistan. He also suggested that the India cap must not be handed out easily simply because senior players are being rested.
