India’s cybersecurity agency has flagged incidents in which AI agents accessed corporate systems beyond their permitted tasks, exposing business records containing personal and confidential information. CERT-In has also identified financially motivated attacks using open-source AI tools, warning that automated operations can accelerate cyber intrusions and make repeat attacks harder to contain.
